Faculty Mentoring Awards

Provost’s Mentoring Award
The Provost’s Mentoring Award, presented annually at the Academic Honors Convocation, honors an individual faculty member whose investment in and generosity toward the academic and professional success of other USC faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, or undergraduate students demonstrate exemplary mentoring. Each school’s dean is invited to nominate one faculty member. Nominations are due November 1.

USC Mellon Mentoring Awards
The USC Mellon Mentoring Awards honor individual faculty for helping build a supportive academic environment at USC through faculty-to-student and faculty-to-faculty mentoring. Awards are given to recognize mentoring by faculty to faculty, faculty to postdoctoral scholars, faculty to graduate students, and faculty to undergraduate students. The entire university community is invited to nominate faculty. Nominations open in the fall and close in the spring.
